VarnaThe city of Varna is the third largest city in Bulgaria with its population of 314,539 people. It is widely called the seaside capital of Bulgaria as it is the biggest city at the Bulgarian coast. The city lies in the Bay of Varna, nestled in a deep valley between the Frengen Plateau and the Avren Plateau. Varna is over 11 km long, while its width, including newly erected residential quarters, is nearly 9km. The city’s structure resembles an amphitheatre as it follows the curves of the Bay of Varna. It is surrounded by gardens, vineyards and groves.
Varna being 120km away shall be one of the two major cities with links to Lake Aheloy providing all the transport facilities i.e. International Airport and port services as well as train and bus station linking to all major cities within Bulgaria and Europe

BURGAS: The city of Bourgas has a population of almost 200,000 people according to recent data, and is the second largest city at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is also the fourth largest city in the country, following Sofia, Plovdiv and connecting Varna. It is situated in the farthest western part of the Bourgas Bay and 390km east of Sofia. Due to the low level of the coast in the area, three lagoon-lakes (the Atanassovo, Bourgas, and Mandren lakes) lie in the area surrounding the city.
Burgas being 35Km away from Lake Aheloy shall be the other major city providing all the transport facilities required today in the modern world.

SUNNY BEACH: (Slanchev Bryag) Resort is situated 42 km north of Bourgas and 28km away from Lake Aheloy. Practically, the resort occupies the entire territory stretching from the village of St Vlas to the north and the town of Nessebar to the south. The resort offers more than 120 hotels and two camping sites, and is rich in entertainment facilities.

NESSEBAR: The town of Nessebar has about 10,000 inhabitants and extends over a small peninsula. It lies 37km northeast of Bourgas and 25Km away from Lake Aheloy. Its beach is considered to be one of the finest along the Black Sea coast due to a large sandy strip of land between the town and the village of Ravda, covered with clean golden sand.

POMORIE: continuing south of Nessebar towards Burgas, the road passes the salt pans surrounding Lake Pomorie, one of Bulgaria’s main sources of salt, and renowned for its therapeutic mud baths.
