The village (Bourgas district) is located in South-East Bulgaria and is included in municipality Sredets. It is situated 25km from the district center - city of Burgas. The village has rich history. It existed during the Roman Empire under the name Deultum (means a place between two shores) and was a lake port of Roman Thrace and a part of the military colony Flavia. There were found remains of ancient buildings (palace, Roman bath, church, houses) and different objects and artifact�s (coins, lead seals and stamps).
