The village is located in South-Central Bulgaria. It is part of Brezovo Municipality, Plovdiv District. The administrative center is the town of Brezovo. The area is famous for its fertile agricultural land, orchards and vineyards. Plovdiv Region itself is an industrial and agrarian region with varied economic sectors. To the south, at the foot of the Rhodopes, around Asenovgrad, not only the most aromatic oriental tobaccos are grown but also the heavy, dry red wines of Trakia and Mavroud. Plovdiv and its surroundings are abounding in cultural, archeological and historical landmarks, which provide excellent conditions for cultural tourism.
