 The Village of Veliko Turnovo District is located in North-Central Bulgaria. It is part of Strazhitsa Municipality. Strazhitsa is a town in southeastern Bulgaria, part of Veliko Tarnovo Province. It is the administrative centre of Strazhitsa municipality, which lies in the eastern part of Veliko Tarnovo Province. The town is located in the central Danubian Plain, not far from the Balkan Mountains, 45 kilometres northeast of the provincial capital of Veliko Tarnovo.

One of Bulgaria's primary tourist destinations, Veliko Tarnovo boasts many historical monuments and landmarks, such as the ruins of the castle Tsarevets on the hill of the same name, which housed the royal and patriarchal palace.

The village is situated 1km from the main road Sofia - Varna. There are shops, cafes and a village hall that hosts traditional celebrations throughout the year.
