Samokov municipality is located in South-West Bulgaria in Sofia District. The Municipality consists of town of Samokov and 28 villages. Samokov is the third largest municipality in the Republic of Bulgaria. Almost a nuclear village to Samokov town, this village is quaint and an unspoilt village situated at the start of the spa region. The village is located about 500m up from the main Sapareva Banya-Samokov which ensure this village is easy to access all year. Just up from it is a larger village which does provide more facilities. Since Samokov is just a few kilometres away, every facility is to hand.
