The Village which is in Dobrich District is located in North-East Bulgaria, which is part of Dobrich Municipality. The Village is a small geographic region in Northern Bulgaria. The soil is a fertile chernozem, no rivers cross the plateau, but by heavy rainfall the ravines are drained away to the east by the Ogosta river and ultimately into the Danube. Zlatiya has been an Important Bird Area since 2005 (parts of it since 1997) and has been included in the EU's Natura 2000 ecological network. The protected area covers 434.987 square kilometers.

Although most of the region is composed of arable land, there are still some extant small forests. The main local product has traditionally been grain, leading to labeling as "Bulgaria's northwestern granary", a comparison to Dobruja.

The population mainly consists of Bulgarians, although there is a sizable Roma minority. The region's name roughly means "golden land".

House bounded on one side by a tarmac road and a dirt track on the other. The building has three rooms and a cellar. There is an additional roofed area on one side which was used for storage (52sq.m). The land area is (fenced off) situated right in the centre of village next to a cafe/bar and shop. It is about 8km from the regional centre of a town Dobrich. The house is also situated near by lake. There is permission to rebuild or build and phone, electricity, water are all available. The house was built in 1917 of stone, so could be upgraded without extensive renovation or refurbishment .
